Anand is a Management professional from
University of Lincolnshire and Humberside (now called the
University of Lincoln-UK) with 26 years of diversified working
experience in Banking and Non-Banking Finance Companies (NBFCs)
in India and Middle East. Prior to Joining ISFC, Anand was an
Associate Director in Gray Matters Capital Managing the entire
Operations of Affordable Private School Replication Units
EdFina-MFB in Africa and Taaleem Finance Private Limited in
Pakistan.
He has handled multiple responsibilities under highly competitive
and challenging environments and his experience ranging from new
market identification, Market analysis, setting up Banking and
NBFC operations, outstanding talent in Business Development,
Product Policy development, Credit Underwriting, Recruitment and
training, Leadership capabilities and team management skills. He
is a passionate, dynamic leader and has hands on experience of
the field which enables him to develop a good rapport with his
staff and most importantly the clients.
Raunak serves as the Director at Indian School Finance Company (ISFC) and the Chief Executive Officer at Gray Matters Capital (GMC).
With over two decades of experience in Finance across industries such as Impact Investment, Financial Services, Payments, Insurance, Manufacturing, and IT, he has expertise in Due Diligence, Investments, Treasury, Risk Assurance, and Project Management.
He joined GMC in 2018 as CFO and Portfolio Head, later leading its education finance expansion into Asia and Africa. During the COVID crisis, he took on the Interim-CEO role at ISFC to steer the company through challenges. In 2020, he co-founded EdPrime, later exiting in 2021 to rejoin GMC full-time as CFO, before being appointed CEO in 2024.
Raunak is also a qualified Insolvency Resolution Professional (IBBI) and has worked across 20+ countries globally.
